Capture the Golden Hour & Join #CapturetheClarity Campaign for realme 9 4G

realme’s latest photography campaign is now accepting submissions for a chance to win the new realme 9 4G

realme is always looking for ways to engage its fans and give back to the members of its community. For this reason, the tech-democratizer regularly holds giveaways of its products and other realme goodies. One recurring giveaway campaign originated by realme is the #CapturetheClarity photography competition. With this campaign, realme users from around the country submit their original photographs centered on a common theme or idea for the chance to win realme devices if they flex their photography skills and become the winning submission.

In the past, realme has centered the @createwithrealme competition on a variety of themes including the themes of black & white, sunrise/sunset, and the theme of Ramadan among many others interesting and diverse themes. For the latest #createwithrealme campaign, realme is taking inspiration from its latest offering – the realme 9 4G. The new campaign will be centered on nine unique photography styles/ themes that the participants can choose from. Once they have selected their themes, they can produce content related to that theme and submit it under this campaign’s unique hashtag #CapturetheClarity for the opportunity to win one of two realme 9 4G devices. Let’s take a look at the fascinating themes chosen by realme.

1.       Spark

A spark refers to a tiny jolt of light that can be generated from a source of heat, light, or electricity. A spark can also represent hope among the darkness. With this theme, participants are challenged to photograph on a smaller scale to find artistic ways to amplify the sparks all around them.

2.       Nightscape Monochrome

Similar to the black & white theme of the past, submissions under this theme are required to include night-time scenes using a black and white filter to create a monochrome effect. Participants of this theme will be shooting low-light, artistic photos of scenes at night and adding their unique perspective.

3.       Light Painting

Light painting is an incredibly trendy technique for today’s photographers. It involves using a moving light source in order to add light to a scene while taking a low-light photo. Through the use of one’s light painting source photographers are not just capturing an image, they are creating the final image by altering the scene’s lighting.

4.       Silhouette

Shadows are a very important aspect of photography. The way shadows play in an image can drastically impact the feelings that the image evokes in the viewer. A silhouette refers to the dark shape and outline of a subject in restricted light against a brighter background. The use of silhouettes in your photography can create very artistic and dramatic final images.

5.       Nature

This theme challenges participants to explore the depths of the natural world around them. Nature photography is one of the most popular forms of photography. This type of photography centers on an appreciation for nature and the rich ecosystems we are surrounded by. From mountainous forests to sandy beaches, the beauty of nature is all around us waiting to be captured through your lens and cherished.

6.       Street View

The bustling city streets are a fountain of inspiration for those with an eye for photography. Participants who choose this theme have to center their submissions around the city streets and the people and objects they may encounter while walking through them. The urban jungle is full of interesting subject matter and with the right exploration, the perfect shot is waiting to be found.

7.       Night Panorama

Panoramic photography is a format of photography that aims to create images with exceptionally wide fields of view. This style of photography creates a wide landscape which encompasses a lot of area. As it relates to night-time photography, panoramas are helpful in capturing the city skyline at night or demonstrating the field of view from a viewpoint. Participants in this theme can experiment with what type of night-time scene they want to capture.

8.       Starry Night

Another really famous subject for photography is the night sky. The mysteries of the universe reveal themselves in the ever-changing night sky. As an ever-changing canvas of stars, different hues, and the clouds, the starry night sky provides a dynamic subject that remains a constant source of inspiration for artists and photographers alike.

9.       Sunset View

Another popular theme makes its return to #shotonrealme as this theme deals with capturing images at the time of sunset when the sky is painted with the hues of the setting sun. Participants who select this theme can focus on how the changing colors of the sky affect the narratives of the scenes they are trying to capture.

realme has selected nine talented, young, rising photographers to follow these themes and provide examples for the general public to follow. These incredible submissions can be viewed at any time on the @createwithrealme Instagram page. So gather your realme devices and muster up some inspiration in order to potentially win realme 9 4G devices. The new realme 9 4G is an excellent device for photography enthusiasts boasting a powerful 108MP ProLight camera with the first-ever Samsung HM6 sensor. In order to participate, select a theme and create your content, follow and tag the @createwithrealme Instagram page, and use the hashtag #CapturetheClarity before Saturday, August 20, 2022 in order to win big!

Realme 9 4G - The Ultimately Clear Difference between 108MP vs. 64MP Photography

The realme 9 4G brings an excellent 108MP camera module with a Samsung HM6 sensor giving it the edge over competition

In recent times, the pressure to have a good phone with a high-end camera has increased in society as people seek greater functionality out of their handheld devices. People nowadays want a phone which can do it all, most importantly clicking high quality HD images for their daily or professional use. As a result, smartphone companies have reworked their products to make camera modules one of the key selling features of contemporary smartphones. In order to attract the average customer and photography enthusiasts, brands constantly strive to pack as high a megapixel count as possible.

By knowing the importance of a good quality camera and megapixels, realme has come up with a new smartphone, the realme 9 4G which features a new and improved 108MP Pro-Light camera setup. The realme 9 4G is the very first smartphone to come equipped with the brand new Samsung HM6 sensor allowing it to deliver superior results. Equipped with 108 million pixels as small as 0.64μm, the ISOCELL HM6 sensor has the ability to render your captured memories with stunning high-definition detail.

Megapixel counts in smartphone cameras play an important role in how your images appear on larger displays. While there may not be a huge difference viewing images taken by a 108MP camera and a 64MP camera on a smartphone, when you scale up the display to the size of a desktop or a television the 64MP image appears to be lower quality with a lot more grain and blur. A higher MP count means the output can be presented on a bigger canvas without compromising on quality. This is because the size of the final image is determined by the multiplying the horizontal pixels by the vertical pixels and a 108MP camera has overall more pixels than a 64MP one. One of the advantages of capturing a 108MP image on smartphones like realme 9 4G, is the amount of details and information about your subject that the photo can retain. When compared to 64MP image, a 108MP image can capture a lot of details.

This means that the image will still appear high quality even if you zoom into and crop the initial image when compared to low-resolution images. The large sensor has the ability to capture good details even in menial lighting conditions. This in tandem with a functional Night Mode should play well. Additionally, there is also a Smart ISO feature that lowers ISO in bright areas for vivid photos and propels ISO for lesser noise in underexposed areas of a scene. Apart from this, this sensor also gives you the support of 6k video recording at 30fps, so it is going to be quite good for the content creators.

While having a higher megapixel count doesn’t necessarily mean a camera module is better, the inclusion of a first-in-segment Samsung HM6 sensor makes the realme 9 4G’s camera module highly desirable. The stunning performer has a lot more to get excited about. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, and realme’s UI 3.0 software. A large 5,000mAh battery powers the device with support for 33W DartCharge fast-charging technology via USB Type-C so you can use the device for long stretches of time without worry. From a connectivity standpoint, the handset supports dual-SIM 4G LTE connectivity and dual-band Wi-Fi. So don’t wait to get your very own realme 9 4G which is available at your nearest smartphone store or exclusively online through the official realme stores on Daraz and AlfaMall for just PKR 54,999/.

The Chief Guest Dr. Murtaza Syed, Governor SBP (A), “Measures taken by the Government and SBP took post covid, kept Pakistan’s economy alive and growing. The key features of Roshan Digital Account (RDA) are convenience, efficiency, lifestyle banking products, better and attractive offerings, all in a presence less environment. Currently with 14 participating banks, RDA has become a unique proposition helping NRPs conduct essential banking transactions, invest in Government securities, stocks, donate to charities, and meet their financing needs for home or car. Encouraged by the success of digital initiatives like RDA, we are endeavouring to position ourselves in the new era of digitation not only as a regulator but also as an enabler of the financial sector, where both our NRPs and resident Pakistanis can have full control of their finances in Pakistan and that too from the comfort of their homes”

realme 9 4G’s 108MP Ultra-Clear Camera & First-ever HM6 Sensor – The Changing Face of Smartphone Photography

realme’s newest entry into the Number series of phones packs a powerful punch for photographers

When purchasing devices in the mid-range, consumers have learnt to manage their expectations. Often times one would have to pick and choose between different smartphone options by making a compromise on certain features. This dilemma has become a concern of the past due to realme’s commitment to providing high quality options in the mid-range segment. realme’s drive to innovate has brought many successes in the past such as with the realme 8 Pro which was the tech democratizer’s first 108MP camera smartphone. The previous generation number series phone made waves in the minds of the public owing to its stellar camera setup.

In modern times, a smartphone’s main camera has become one of the most important features of your device. Whether you want to snap a picture for social media or video chat with your loved ones, the smartphone’s camera quality is of paramount importance. This is why realme is bringing a new and improved 108MP ProLight camera setup in the upcoming realme 9 4G. On the surface it may seem like the camera setup is the same as the realme 8 Pro but beneath the surface the realme 9 4G is the very first smartphone to come equipped with the brand new Samsung HM6 sensor allowing it to deliver superior results.

The realme 8 Pro came equipped with a previous generation HM2 sensor. The brand new HM6 sensor should deliver a 123% increase in light sensitivity for the realme 9 4G as compared to the realme 8 Pro’s HM2 sensor. Equipped with 108 million pixels as small as 0.64μm, the ISOCELL HM6 sensor has the ability to render your captured memories with stunning high-definition detail. The advanced sensor also supports 3x lossless zoom which allows you to capture smooth and accurate images no matter how close or far from the subject you are. Apart from all these revolutionary features, the ISOCELL HM6 sensor is the first to adopt the Nonapixel plus technology. This upgraded pixel binning technology has drastically improved the way it combines and utilizes light information allowing it to take bright and clear pictures even in extremely low light environments.

The products of merging nine pixels at once are 12MP images with a noise level comparable to a 1.92μm big pixel. Smart-ISO allows the ISOCELL HM6 to adjust to the lighting conditions by intelligently choosing High or Low ISO mode. In conditions of dim lighting, High ISO mode converts light to a signal with higher conversion gain to illuminate details in the shadows. The process of multisampling follows which combines High ISO and Low ISO shots to reduce noise by averaging multiple frames into one. The realme 9 4G’s ISOCELL HM6 sensor has four times more autofocusing agents than the previous 0.7 108MP ISOCELL model. With its higher autofocus pixel density, you can capture fast-moving objects easily with little to no loss of image clarity. The ISOCELL HM6 is not just great at capturing photos, it can capture highly detailed videos as well. With support for video recording at 8K 24FPS and 4K 120FPS, the high-tech sensor allows you to record moving images in both regular and slow-motion mode in incredible detail.

By introducing the HM6 sensor to the market via the realme 9 4G, realme is building on its legacy of facilitating access to the latest in the tech world for its loyal consumers. This first of its kind tech makes low-light photography a piece of cake. However, the realme 9 4G is much more than a glorified camera. The next-level handset also comes equipped with a Snapdragon 680 (6nm) processor, 90Hz Super AMOLED Display, Holographic Ripple Design, and so much more. So keep your eyes on store shelves for the realme 9 4G when it arrives starting Saturday, July 16, 2022.

Alibaba.com Report Finds E-commerce Helped MSMEs Mitigate Pandemic Impact

Alibaba.com and AliResearch co-publish report on the survival of Micro- Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) throughout and beyond the pandemic

Global B2B e-commerce platform Alibaba.com and AliResearch Institute, Alibaba Group’s research arm, have co-published the report “Challenges, Responses, and Transformation of MSMEs in the Post-Pandemic Era”. The report takes a multi-focal look at how Micro- Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) fared during the pandemic to provide a better understanding of the action businesses took to survive, revealing key findings that include:

MSMEs are critical to the global economy, comprising 90% of businesses worldwide and contributing 70%+ of global employment and 50-60% of GDP.

MSMEs were hit hard by the pandemic, with micro-businesses suffering disproportionately: up to 70% of global MSMEs saw sales decline with two-thirds reporting their sales dropped by 40%.

MSMEs’ offline business has been severely disrupted by lack of demand while online sales have skyrocketed; digitalisation is an effective way for MSMEs to risk-proof their business: the survival rate of MSMEs is 7 percentage points higher in the regions with the highest e-commerce penetration than in those with the lowest.

The research finds that, of all MSMEs, the pandemic took the largest toll on smaller MSMEs. This was to be expected since many smaller businesses did not have the resources or infrastructure to roll with the punches of repeated shutdowns, local restrictions, shortages and other issues caused by the pandemic. Less than a quarter of MSMEs escaped the negative effects of the pandemic, with only 23.5% of them not suffering from a decline in sales. Two-thirds of MSMEs had business drop by 40%.

In Pakistan, there are 5 million SMEs which contribute 40% in GDP of Pakistan and 25% in overall exports, as per the estimates of Small & Medium Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA). For some countries, business continuation would remain grim if lockdowns persisted – Close to 30% of Pakistani MSMEs in the survey indicated that they had to shut down their businesses completely during the pandemic. 30% of MSMEs that participated in the survey reported a huge loss of close to 50% because of the pandemic.

“We have to recognize that MSMEs are not only critical economic players but their health and prosperity are also critical to a full and sustainable global economic recovery. Consequently, we have released this report to help return MSMEs to the center stage and facilitate broader and more practical discussions about supporting MSMEs and equipping them for greater economic impact,” said Hongbin Gao, Vice-president of Alibaba Group, Head of AliResearch Institute.

The potential for market expansion remains huge for Asia-Pacific, nevertheless. For example, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, exports in Pakistan were 500 billion Pakistan Rupees in November’ 21compared to 421 billion PKR the year before. Digital transformation has proven to be a lifeline to many MSMEs during the pandemic, by reducing their costs, providing timely access to information, optimizing workflows, and helping them expand into new markets.

Unsurprisingly, the research revealed that the survival rate of MSMEs is 7 percentage points higher in the regions with the highest e-commerce penetration than in those with the lowest. In addition, the economic downturn was less severe in regions with higher e-commerce penetration rates.

Andrew Zheng, Vice-president of Alibaba.com, said, “The pandemic has changed global trade forever. There is no denying that businesses and individuals have suffered tremendously. However, the creativity and ingenuity that MSMEs have put into action to overcome the many hurdles created by the pandemic are nothing short of impressive. E-commerce may have served as a survival mechanism throughout the pandemic, but moving forward, it will remain a valuable tool for global trade. Social selling, live commerce, virtual trade shows, and request for quotation (RFQ) marketplaces allow sellers to get creative in how they reach their audiences and make it easier for them to connect with their ideal clients. Through digitalisation, MSMEs can also easily access insights related to internet traffic, demand forecasting, and other key analytics that empower them to make better decisions for their businesses.”

However, the report also revealed a significant gap in the adoption of digital strategies between smaller and larger enterprises.
